All participants of the Pup Party are required to complete and turn in a waiver to gain admission to the event. You can download, print and complete your waiver to turn in at check-in here. If you are unable to print in advance, copies of the waiver will be available at check in.Â
As a reminder, dated proof of rabies vaccination is required for all dogs attending the event. Only one dog per owner age 18 and up. Please review the waiver for full details.

The Beer Garden will be located next to Scallywag’s Bar & Grill, where local Virginia breweries will be sampling their finest brews! We will even have a craft cocktail menu that will be available at Scallywag’s Bar & Grill and River Runners Bar & Grill.
Cabanas Will Be Available Soon.
Cabana reservations include a beautiful pavilion with curtained sides, cushioned patio-style furniture, chaise lounge chairs, a ceiling fan, flat-screen cable TV, and a personal refrigerator with a bottle of water for each guest.
Costume Contest
The costume contest will be held on the right hand side of the Wave Pool.

Event Guidelines
- Swimming is for dogs ONLY
- Each pup must be with a human
- Proof of vaccination including Rabies must be shown to enter for each pup
- All guests are required to complete a waiver prior to entry
- Waivers can be downloaded on the website and completed in advance or at the check-in tent the day of
- Dogs must be on a nonretractable leash
- Dogs 30 lbs. and up permitted in Runaway Bay Wave Pool
- Each guest 18 & up will be permitted to bring 1 dog
- Personal dog toys are not permitted; dog toys will be provided
- No outside food and beverages, including dog food or drinks are permitted inside the park
- Clean drinking water for dogs will be provided
- We recommend to NOT trim dog’s nails prior to event due to concrete
- Ticket sales are limited
- Guests 3 & up must have a ticket and children under 16 must be supervised
- 2025 Season Passholders will receive a discount on admission
- 2025 Season Passholders must present their season pass with their discounted Pup Party Admission ticket for entry
- Guests 21 & up must receive a wristband at the ID check station
- Season Passes and all other admission tickets will not be accepted for entry
